This church dates from 1886 and stands a matter of yards from the City Boundary. It has one bell, details of which are as follows:
| Bell | Founder | Date | Diameter | Weight |
| 1 | Thomas C. Lewis, Brixton | 1886 | 17 15/16" | 1½ cwt |

The bell has a button top and is the only bell by Lewis in the Diocese. The independent crown staple passes through a bar headstock and effectively secures the bell as the other ironwork consists of four J-bolts. It is chimed with an iron lever. The bell cost £14..10s..0d in 1886. It is a disappointing example of the work of a founder and nationally acclaimed organ builder, who claimed that the bells he produced never required tuning. It makes an interesting comparison with the bells in the next parish, Thorpe St Andrew, cast only four years before by Moore, Holmes & Mackenzie.
In the 1950's, the parish acquired one of the three bells from St Benedict, Norwich (q.v.). Which one is not known as it was never hung at St Cuthbert's. Indeed, it may have been the bell which went to St Francis, Heartsease (q.v.) which was originally a daughter church of this parish.
